The 17 Day Diet is pretty amazing. For those just starting or are thinking about weight loss start here:
1) If you eat out try diet coke instead of regular sugar pop2) have your burger3) try salad instead
I always eat breakfast, it starts your metabolism in the morning through to night. Try to introduce whole grain breads or at least whole wheat, white bread is high on the glycemic index and is basically sugarbut brown will fill you up and keep you satiated alot longer than white.
Try to go for a simple 10 min walk during the day or even take the stairs at work. This is for those who are seditary and are thinking about it.  
Like I said start slow add a little change in each meal, whole grain for breakfast, change your pop to diet or even better water, have your normal supper (or make small change if not too hard).Most snacking occurs after 6:00pm and is usually of high fat content, try to reduce this or even sub in a whole wheat pita with chicken (small) a full meal in itself.
Pop is a diaretic and removes water from your system like coffee does.  It can also can lead to kindney stones as well.  Try to have a couple of glasses of water a day, and I have been told that just adding water alone can improve how you feel. That was by a client! so anecdotal, but my friend stoped coffee and introduced water and he said that the difference is just like night and day! I hate rambling on and on, so please if there is specific issues let me know other wise I will continue and ramble on certian issues.  If you want advanced info or simple routines whatever please post em’  Otherwise ramble I will!!! well nemesis, I dont snack that much, but Im sure some people starting on a 17 day diet have a hard time trying to stop eating snack food, what would you recommend? personally Ihave a little system in place where I have those really cheap horrible tasting protein bars, and if i get hungry enough before my next meal ill eat one of those. instead of having a snickers lying around, id be getting hungry in between every meal:lol: I know pop corn isn’t too bad, celery with peanut butter is pretty good, do you have any ideas on fast easy stuff?
With high fat content.  I have found that for myself eating every few hours I dont snack unless I crave sugar.   Taylor you have good ideas especially subing in but be careful with those protien bars some are not that healthy.  peanut butter is very good, but it does have some trans fat in it. What I will do for my next post is teach people how to read the food labels on the cans/boxes/wrappers and the actual content of stuff.  That should be good. If someone is serious and wants to do a 3 day diet journal and I can review it and substitute in other choices I can always do that if anybody was interested in that?
